How do I know when it is time to buy new running shoes?
Most common injuries occur from over worn running shoes. Usually 4 to 6 months is the given length of time to wear the same pair of shoes. If you train 6 days a week, you should lean towards 4 months. However, by alternating your shoes with a second pair you will get a longer period of time out of each pair of shoes and reduce the likelihood of injuries.  Keep in mind, if you start feeling muscle soreness in your lower legs, ankles and feet, it may be time to buy a new pair.
